For example, you might want to make the commitment to take action within 30 days, or achieving your first results within 90 days.

Have the discipline to follow through, and check in with yourself weekly.

In a traditional classroom setting, you’ll often receive verbal or visual reminders of a task's current progress or an assignment’s upcoming due date.

But without an in-person trainer actively reminding you face-to-face, it’s up to you to make sure you’ve allotted enough time to complete the work so you’re not only getting started right before the deadline of your own goals.

This also means making a point to show up for the courses you have registered for, and being responsible enough to pay attention and staying for the whole session so you can get the most out of it.

If you’re having trouble holding yourself responsible, pair up with a fellow student and find yourself an accountability partner.

You can also enlist the help of a spouse or friend to check in to keep you accountable.

By being organized, proactive, and self-aware, you can get the most from your online class even when life outside of your educational environment becomes chaotic.
